Terms of Service
Welcome to RH Basketball Academy. By booking, purchasing, or participating in any training session, membership, or related service offered by RH Basketball Academy LLC (“RH Basketball Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“client,” “athlete,” “parent/guardian,” or “you”) agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Services
RH Basketball Academy provides basketball training services, including one-on-one lessons and group sessions, in the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area. Sessions are by appointment. Training content, locations, and availability may vary and are confirmed at booking.
We offer drop-in sessions and monthly membership packages. Current pricing is listed on our website and may be updated from time to time. No free trials are offered.
2. Eligibility & Minors
Athletes of various ages may train with us. If the athlete is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms, handle booking and payment, and remain responsible for the minor’s participation, conduct, and transportation to and from sessions.
3. Booking & Scheduling
- All sessions are by appointment only.
- Monthly membership clients receive priority on prime training times.
- Sunday–Thursday are full training days; Friday is a light day; Saturday is off (subject to change with notice).
- Group sessions are capped at 8 athletes (we aim for 6–8).
- We reserve the right to decline, reschedule, or cancel sessions due to weather, facility issues, illness, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4. Payment
Payment terms are detailed in our Payment Policy. In summary:
- Monthly packages are prepaid (typically due on or by the 1st of the month).
- Accepted methods include Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal payable to RH Basketball Academy LLC.
- Drop-in fees are due before or at the session unless otherwise arranged.
5. Cancellation & Makeups
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- One-on-one sessions: makeup sessions may be offered when timely notice is given, subject to coach availability.
- Group sessions: makeups are limited and not guaranteed, as group slots are capacity-constrained.
- Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to provide 24-hour notice may result in forfeiture of the session without refund or makeup.

6. Conduct & Safety
Athletes and accompanying adults are expected to treat coaches, other athletes, facilities, and equipment with respect. Unsafe, abusive, harassing, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal from a session and/or termination of services without refund.
Athletes should arrive ready to train (appropriate shoes and attire, hydrated, and free of conditions that make participation unsafe). Inform the coach of any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or limitations before training.
7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Basketball training involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, collisions, and other physical harm. By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of yourself and/or the athlete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and hold harmless RH Basketball Academy LLC, its owner(s), coaches, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in training, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree that you are responsible for any medical treatment needed and that RH Basketball Academy does not provide medical insurance for participants.
8. Media
We may occasionally photograph or film training for promotional use (website, social media, marketing). If you do not want the athlete featured, please notify us in writing before sessions begin, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate that request.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, training materials, and related intellectual property remain the property of RH Basketball Academy LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
10. Termination
Either party may discontinue services. Prepaid unused sessions may be handled according to the Payment Policy. We may suspend or terminate services immediately for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or conduct concerns.
11. Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
